Days roll into months,

Gradually months is rolling fast into years,

Yet our girls are not back home.

I look through the window each day and most times on the internet,

With expectation on my face to hear that our girls are back.

Still I feel more disappointed knowing that their safety is not guaranteed.

When will they come home?

Tears has become a routine in our eyes,

Still their arrival is not forth coming.

Today is children’s day but our girls cannot celebrate like other girls.

I wondered, if Aminat or Musa are not safe in the north,

How can Funke or Tochukwu boast of their safety?

Our breakfast, lunch and even dinner is filled with sadness and heart breaks.

Where are Aminat and Yetunde?

When will Shekirat and Bisi come back home?

Can Noimot stay that long in the hands of these men of evil?

Please bring back our girls safely!!!!

We cry each day still it has not done us any good.

We protest each day in the street of Nigeria,

Has that help any ways?

We cannot shout happy children day, because, our girls are not happy.
