Sudan: Pregnant Woman Sentenced To Die For Being A Christain

A woman who is believed to be about eight months pregnant, has been sentenced to die in Sudan for refusing to renounce her christian faith.

As reported by her lawyer, the woman married a christian man and has on Thursday been sentenced to death as she refused to decant her christian faith. The country criminalizes the conversion of Muslims to other religions with a death penalty.

Although Muslim men can marry from outside their religion, the women are prohibited to marry outside the Muslim faith.

The US, Amnesty International and some other bodies have shown concern, She could be saved hoping many other sane nations come against this.
