....WHEN LOVE FAILS
Am actually thinking of what to write today.A write -up that will
express how i feels deep inside.I couldn't come up with any,but the
thought that i MUST write something today,and the willingness of my
half-inked-pen and my little-spaced-jotter did obviously brought out
something to write about.
Now should i write about polities or should i write about the state of the nation? should i write about how Boko-haram has turn our country Nigeria into a place that even animals are not safe to live in?should i write about how corruptions has been encouraged and promoted in the nation now than ever before?
So many thought going through my mind right now,to the extends i felt i should just drop my pen and return to bed.But the willingness of my pen and jotter wont just let me be without writing something today.
After minutes of thought,i arrived at a topic i tag"..WHEN LOVE FAILS". What do you think are the causes of Boko haram in the nation today? what can make a man born of a woman bomb a church he knows his fellow human being(even children) are in without feeling guilty about his actions? you think is poverty? i doubt guys,is far more than that.I try to trace the root of all these evil that have befall us as a nation today,only one answer was able to come to mind,which is"LOVE HAS FAILS"
What is even love to you?leaving the dictionary definition you know aside and define it using your own words as related to human being.Love is far more then what the dictionary says,but it has more to do with you and how you relate to the person next to you,irrespective of who he/she is to you,it doesn't matter if you are from the same family or tribe.
Learn to treat people nicely,treat people as human that they are.Love has fails in our families,communities,society,to the extend it is now affecting our country today.It all started from the family.
LOVE IN RESPECT TO THIS ARTICLE,IS DEFINE AS THE TREATMENT GIVEN TO PEOPLE JUST THE WAY THEY WISH TO BE TREATED,TAKING NOTE OF THE FACT THAT THEY ARE HUMAN BEING WITH FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS.
Nigeria is one country in the world that is populated with churches and mosques,taking Lagos state as a case study,hardly will you pass a street in Lagos without a church or a mosque in it.We go to church almost everyday,but how much love are we giving out to that person next to us?what are we even taught in our places of worship?this questions becomes imperative to ask because am not seeing the product of all the churches and mosques in the country today.
When love fails,everything fails,corruptions becomes an habit among people,insecurity increases,father rape daughters,mothers sell there children etc i can go on and on because the list is endless.When am talking about love,am not talking about the selfish kind of love,that gives to receive,am talking about the love that is selfless and not pretentious in nature.
My solution to all this,is that the families should imbibed the culture of love to there children.It has to start from the family because it is the smallest unit in the nation today.with this culture starting with the family trust me i so much believe we will record changes in the ways and manners of our brothers and sisters.
I have to drop my pen,my ink is almost dry,let me get new one to continues with you guys later...thanks
